SERIES 3: CHOOSE FRIENDSHIP

Friendship is vital when establishing a healthy relationship.  A strong foundation of shared values, goals, and interests, can help a relationship - close friendship - grow and stand the test of time.  During the teenage years, it is crucial for youth to identify what is most important to them and to look for friends and community that will support them and build them up in a positive manner.

 Students will:

  1. Discover what qualities are most important to them in a future spouse.

  2. Understand the importance of establishing a strong foundation in relationships.

  3. Briefly discuss divorce.

  4. Understand how avoiding the risk of premature pregnancy and STDs by practicing abstinence can secure a better marriage and help to build a stronger foundation for great relationships.
