POWERFUL CHOICES CURRICULUM

Powerful Choices is a unique 7-10 lesson series of risk avoidance curriculum,
currently being used by schools and youth organizations.

In the Classroom

SERIES 1: GRADES 4-6

Powerful Choices Series 1 is recommended for grades 4 thru 6.
Through a series of 7 lessons, students will focus on developing healthy relationships by learning effective decision-making skills and basic character education when they need it.

SERIES 2: GRADES 6-8

Powerful Choices Series 2 is recommended for grades 6 thru 9.
This 10 lesson series lays the foundation for making healthy decisions about alcohol, drugs and sexual activity. Students acquire assertiveness and goal-setting skills, along with medically-accurate information on sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

In the Classroom

SERIES 3: GRADES 8-12

Powerful Choices Series 3 is recommended for grades 8 thru 12.
The 10 lessons of Series 3 builds upon the lessons taught in Series 2. Students learn to recognize high-risk situations involved with dating, alcohol and drugs. They develop plans for positive futures by setting personal goals and boundaries in their lives.
